The Bridal Project had my favorite assortment of dresses out of the three Miami shops I went to. It was laid back. It wasn’t the most luxurious feeling, but the selection was beautiful. The location is a little unusual and hard to find.

I'm an out-of-town bride - to be exact Chicago. My wedding planner brought me to The Bridal Project, as there was a very specific designer she knew I would love and she was right.

Unfortunately, the dress she intended for me to try on was not there so I had to come back and that was okay. We came back and the whole process was lovely the owner Martina was very kind, and the shop was absolutely adorable.  I said "yes" to the dress.

Months go by and my dress arrived - I flew back down to try it on and we noticed some damage to the train of the dress (no fault of the shop). Martina and the designer were quick to offer solutions and get the dress remade.

The reason for my 3-star review is that there were so many issues when it came to alterations that were being done in-house by their seamstresses.  I came in for a final fitting and we went over every little detail and what was to get altered.  I received 3 reminders of my appointment to pick up my dress that it was ready. I arrived and the owner was not in so I was dealing with the seamstress. Don't get me wrong they are both genuinely the sweetest ladies.

But I have to admit I was extremely disappointed that my dress had not been altered it had not been touched! Nothing was done as we discussed. They said they would take care of the hemming right away and if I could come back in a few hours. I came back the hemming was complete but obviously done quickly and now the hem was crooked and still to long. I tried on the dress and asked if we could see how the bustle on my dress worked they did not have the buttons on the dress and claimed that I never asked for that when in fact we discussed it multiple times during each visit. I then had to wait while they added the buttons. The bodice of my dress was supposed to be taken in and it was not. It was still too loose so my dress did not fit comfortably to my chest and kept slipping out of it all through the night. I was so uncomfortable in my dress and was greatly disappointed, but with only a few days left till my wedding, I left as I could not deal with any more stress.

My recommendation to the Bride that said yes to a dress here take your alterations to a trusted and vetted seamstress.

To The Bridal Project work on over-communication with your team. This should have never occurred as you were there during all the fittings and should have confirmed all these changes were made before I came to pick up my dress.

I bought my dress elsewhere and brought it here for altering. Must I say - it was absolutely wonderful. The dress was a difficult one made of tulle material, the seamstress worked her magic, and added 11 bustles!! They all stayed in place during the father daughter dance and looked gorgeous on my wedding day. I also requested a cape be added, and that was also wonderfully done. The photos speak for themselves!

I had such a wonderful experience at The Bridal Project! The studio was gorgeous and Martina greeted us with smiles and champagne. She explained the collections and let us explore at our own pace. There are beautiful gowns and separates (tops/skirts) and the best part - everything can be customizable to fit your style/ need. I tried a dress that didn’t look so great on me however I loved the top, so Martina suggested to see it with a fitted skirt - and it completely transformed the look. Highly recommend!! ?‍♀️✨?

The Bridal Project was my first stop on my wedding dress search and I should not have gone anywhere else. Martina, the owner, is exceptional - very kind, listened to my ideas and provided a magical atmosphere to try on dresses. The store carries unique designers and dress options. Each dress is thoughtfully picked out to be part of the selection and there is a wide range to choose from (but not overwhelmingly!). Martina was always going above and beyond. She provided suggestions to many other vendors that I needed for my wedding too, months after I got my dress.

Definitely a 5 star experience. I had been to at least 4 other bridal shops before coming to the Bridal Project. I was looking for a more unique dress. The dresses at other places all looked the same after awhile with no wow factor and nothing special about them. Walking into the Bridal Project was an extreme 180 from that. There were numerous gorgeous dresses all from extremely beautiful and unique designers I had not seen anywhere else. The quality of the dresses was just stunning and no comparison to what I had tried on at other places. The service was also outstanding. Martina was absolutely amazing in helping me finally find my dream dress. She was extremely knowledgeable when it came to knowing everything about the designers and dresses and varying style options. She makes sure to know your style and what you are looking for beforehand. Martina helped create a very memorable and enjoyable experience with my family, and I would highly recommend them.
