I would look into this company to verify that the people recieving approvals have recieved funds and not denial EMAILS. I applied and spoke to the man that actually does the approvals. He told me to send in my rental ledger (this is after they already seen everything else). He told me to send it in so he can approve the application. I went through hills and many conversations before he told me that. Only to get a denial letter saying I wasn't approved due to not COVID related. That was a lie and I was shocked because I specifically spoke to the head person there on purpose and he told me he would approve it, he just needed the rental ledger to make sure I was actually behind.. Either way I went through another company that has access to the same database and they told me I had a approval for months that I never recieved a payment for. Looking at the comments, I would look into them to make sure they aren't pocketing funds. This happened awhile back but I thought about it and said I should make a post like others have.

this program is a waste of taxpayer dollars . I applied online twice with no response I had to go to the office directly to give my application to a manager to hand to Miss Moore. Sherry Moore is incompetent and will waste your time. Every time she contacts you it will be bad news and she will not give you any information that you request about the program. They only want to tell you what they want to tell you and get offended when you ask questions. This program breadcrumbed and gaslighted me for two months straight. They will have you apply for something that they know you’re not qualified for and then turn around and tell you that you do not meet the requirements. They will just tell you to apply again like it’s some type of game instead of being honest about your eligibility in the first place. Whoever funds this program should be disappointed or should look into how effective it is and follow up with its clients.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Let me start by saying they be deleting the bad reviews from off of here. There use to be so much and now all of a sudden they’re all gone. Now back to the basic. I applied for rental assistance back in March. Now here we are in July after constant emails and them making me reapply all because I forgot to send ONE picture over they tell me they’re pushing my rental application to the side to assist with other people because I had help from dss a WHOLE YEAR AGO! So hear I am on the verge of eviction and they tell me 5 months later that I have to wait for them assist other people. They are frauds! If you’re applying for rental assistance DONT!!

The staff was very unprofessional. When i first walked in Ms. Moore did not greet me at all, she had an attitude because i was up there and had to register. We had a set appointment, and she decided to cancel without letting me know, so I went up to the office she wasn't there. Every time you leave a message at this place they never call you back. So you constantly have to call. Then I didn't qualify, but she didn't let me know i had to call the office. I feel like they should replace the staff the are very unprofessional. Normally when its a black business it always has some unprofessional ways.

My application was received on 09/13/2020 and the only correspondence I have received was a confirmation email that my application was received. They will not return calls or emails. NCDHHS gave them grant money to assist the community. What are they doing with those funds. I have submitted a complaint with the NC Attorney Generals office.
